Possible Prophetic Implications for May 2011

I was doing a study of my own while I came across a video one of my good friends posted a few days ago that goes along with some of my findings in a very powerful way. I will first post the video and then my very quick study below that.

Here is my quick study:

In May we begin the 2nd month on the Hebrew calendar which is also the same month that Noah entered the ark, the month of Iyyar.

Genesis 7:4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

Genesis 7:9-11 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth. In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

May 13th is the 10th day of the 2nd month which is from sunset May 12th to sunset May 13th. Seven days later is May 20th which is sunset May 19th to sunset May 20th.

It makes for a good watch date, especially since it is right before the May 15th day that the Muslims will be protesting in Israel that may cause the Damascus war.

An additional thought is that the planets that align for the Bethlehem star are May 11th to May 12th.

If I Were A Pastor

If I were a pastor of a church, the very next Sunday would be different than all the others.

I would show up early and sit in the back row. I would look around and listen closely. I would wait.

I would see the congregation come in, mingle, mull and sit. I would hear them talking, greeting, sharing and wondering.

I would wait.

As the time drew near to the sermon’s beginning, I would watch and wait.

Time would continue as the congregation would begin to look around, wondering what was taking so long. The murmuring would begin and I would wait.

Time would continue and the people would begin to fidget. Eventually, some would complain and shift uncomfortably in their seats and I would wait.

10 – 15 – 20 minutes would pass and some would get up to see what was happening. I would see many checking their watches, their phones, each other. Some would chat, some would leave and I would wait.

As 20 minutes turns into 2 hours, I would see most everyone has left… That is when I would get up and walk to the front. The service would then begin.

Those who would remain would be ready to hear what the Word has to say. That is the Church, not the seat warmers but those willing to wait it out, recognizing the Word is the most important thing in their lives. Not sports, not food, not television, not friends… God’s Word is what they seek with every part of their being and nothing will make them leave before they get it.

That’s what I would do if I were a pastor.

New Moon and Aviv Barley 2011

The New Moon was sighted today, April 4th in Israel, which means that April 4/5th is Nisan 1 – the first Biblical month of the Year. This officially puts Passover to begin at sunset Israel time, April 18th. Source

This means that the Lord’s Passover is Nisan 14th (April 18 sunset to April 19 sunset), Unleavened Bread begins on Nisan 15 (April 19 sunset to April 20 sunset) and continues for 7 days (including day 1). The Feast of First Fruits is on April 24 sunset to April 25 sunset and that then begins the Omer count to Pentecost which will be on June 12th. Leviticus 23

Exciting days ahead, keep looking UP!

Being Prepared

The Road To Hell Is Paved With Cookies

I know you are probably thinking, WHAT?! Let me explain.

Tonight, my husband and I went to the grocery store to pick up some last minute things. It was a little late, around 9’ish but we didn’t want to have to go tomorrow. So, while we were there, shopping for what we needed, we happened to notice that some of the store food items were expired. One of which was a container of cookies, hence the title of this post.

I know you are asking yourself, “So, what do cookies have to do with going to hell?”. Well, I am getting to that.

We decided to bring this to the attention of the on duty manager because this was not the first time we have come across expired food there. Well, after we checked out, we found the manager and proceeded to inform her of the cookies. She looked at us puzzled as though she wasn’t sure what we wanted her to do about it. So, she said, “Well, I can sell them to you for a discount.” To which we replied that she cannot “sell” expired food.

She then looked dazed and replied in a prolonged tone, “Ohhh-kaaay”. She then took the cookies and walked off.

Now, to the point.

Many times when things happen, I think about how others might think or how they might respond and I then evaluate what the Biblical way of handling a situation would be.

I thought about how some may say or think in that situation that it could be free food since they cannot sell it and then rationalize that we should just take them next time and just not say anything at all. Then I thought to myself, “Its not worth going to hell over a box of cookies”.

I know some may think that is a harsh statement or judgment against anyone who might actually go through with something like that about what seems to be a small matter, however the Bible tells us otherwise.

I would like to share some scriptures with you regarding this. I do hope that you can see that taking something without saying anything or paying for it is wrong and we call that stealing. When calling it what it is “stealing”, we know that it is illegal despite the details we would try to rationalize it with. The Bible calls that a seared conscious (1 Timothy 4:2).

Lets see what the Bible says about thieves:

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Now, you may say that once we “get saved” then everything is covered from beginning to end, however I would like to share a couple of verses with you regarding that.

Hebrews 10:26-27 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

You may then wonder about the Bible saying that all who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. Well, lets look at those verses in the right context as they are shared in the scriptures.

Romans 10:12-13 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

As you can see, this verse is talking about both Jews and Gentiles can be saved rather than just the Jews or just the Gentiles and not just in general regarding salvation.

Well, here is another verse some may share but lets keep it in the right context as well.

Acts 2:19-21 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

As you can see in Acts, it is referring to the time of the second coming of Christ. When He comes back to the earth, things will be so much worse than anything you can imagine now, even with all that is happening today. This is not referring to the Church age.

We can see the Lord confirming this in the following verse:

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Where does this leave you? We all must walk out our conversion in Christ which is not what gets us there but what is the evidence of our sanctification through Him. Which means that one cannot be saved by Him without being changed by Him. This is possible on a death bed situation but only if they are sincere and changed within themselves by Him in that moment. For the rest of us, we must walk it out as faithful witnesses by our works or as the Bible calls them “our fruit”.

So, the next time you come to a situation that may seem like a small thing… just remember what the Word says and choose the right path that leads to salvation and eternal life and turn from the wrong path that leads to death and eternal damnation.

A Pondering Thought

Here are just some thoughts to ponder on…

Many believe the Psalms are prophetic to the Gregorian years from the 20th century onward. If you study each Psalm, you will be able to line it up with the corresponding year from 1900 onward. You can do the research when you have time.

Based upon that belief, the following is quite interesting in light of the days we are in. Be encouraged.

One thing to keep in mind is that we understand that our “redemption” is the rapture of the Church to be with the Lord forever more.

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your REDEMPTION draweth nigh.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of REDEMPTION.

When does this happen???

Psalm 111:9 He sent REDEMPTION unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

Now, we know that the tribulation period lasts 7 years… so…. if this truly be the case that the Psalms line up prophetically with the Gregorian years as all the previous ones seem to indicate, that would mean that 7 Psalms after would line up with the Lord’s 2nd coming, right? So, if Psalm 111 corresponding to 2011 is the rapture year, then Psalm 118 corresponding to 2018 would be the 2nd coming. Lets see…

Matthew 23:39 For I say unto you, ye shall not see Me henceforth, till ye shall say, BLESSED IS HE THAT COMETH IN THE NAME OF THE LORD.

When does this happen???

Psalm 118:26 BLESSED BE HE THAT COMETH IN THE NAME OF THE LORD: we have blessed You out of the house of the Lord.

We will soon see how it all lines up as it plays out… but in the meantime, while we are still here… I hope this will encourage you as you continue to keep looking up.

A Lasting Witness

A good friend of mine wrote a post on his site titled ”
OPERATION Midnight Hour” that I would like to share with you.

In his post, you will see some very practical ideas in regards to what believers can do to share the prophecies that are still to come after the Rapture of the Church.

Now, we know that in 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 it reads “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

By this we know that those who outright rejected the Truth of the gospel will probably not turn to Christ through repentance during the tribulation… in fact, the Word is clear that through the judgments they will harden their hearts toward God and not repent of their deeds.

Revelation 9:20-21 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Revelation 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

However, we also know that some during the tribulation will witness and make it into heaven but not without giving up their lives for the testimony of Christ.

Daniel 11:32-35 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

We know that before the end comes, the gospel must be preached to all the earth.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

We also know that during the tribulation period, this is done by an angel and the only reason it would need to be done that way is because it was not completed by people and the time is too short to wait.

Revelation 14:6-7 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

So, regardless of the category or title tribulation saints may be called into, they will exist, they will give their lives for their testimony of Christ and they will make it to heaven because of that.

Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

So, leave a lasting witness for those who are left. Our time is short, lets not waste it. If the Lord uses your efforts, your rewards will be great. If He chooses to destroy those efforts in His judgment, your reward is still great because you were a faithful servant who did your best to provide a good and lasting witness to any who would hear.

Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King. Keep looking up my friends, He is coming.
