Hello,

I heard about this site yesterday and will be looking forward to sharing ideas (inspired only by the Holy Spirit that is) with you. Daughter of the Lord Most High, consider the blessings that we do have as children of his and do not give the devil a foot hold in any part of your life. The Lord Jesus Christ needs us to be standing firm on his foundation in these dark times and to be foot ready for his Will to be accomplished working through us.

Only in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ,

I understand where you are coming from now. According to your logic you would be correct. However your logic is not my logic and I will politely agree to disagree since I have no interest in delving deeper into matters of Jewish Law.

I was anonymous because I just happened upon this site, and I was just curious myself.

We are all children of the G-d of Israel, so I wish you a Happy New Year filled with Emes.

Rosh Hashanah is known by the sighting of the new moon, which was sighted on Sunday (United States time in the AM) this would be around sunset Sunday in Jerusalem. Since their days are from sundown to sundown, then technically it was the beginning of their Monday. The Gregorian calendar is where others are getting that the celebration of Rosh Hashanah was on the 18th-19th.

Counting from Sunday-Monday when the new moon was sighted:
Sunday/Monday = 1
Monday/Tuesday = 2
Tuesday/Wednesday = 3
Wednesday/Thursday = 4
Thursday/Friday = 5
Friday/Saturday = 6
Saturday/Sunday = 7
Sunday/Monday = 8
Monday/Tuesday = 9
Tuesday/Wednesday = 10

So, saying it is Wednesday or saying it is Tuesday... both are actually correct because of the sunset to sunset. Technically though, it is considered Wednesday to Jerusalem.

I hope this has cleared up all of the misunderstandings. We all are learning and no one will come to complete knowledge until we are in heaven with Christ.

Sincerely In Christ,
Alison

P.S. Why do you feel the need to be anonymous? Just curious.

Sorry but you are correct about one thing... it is the 10th day of Tishrei, which is the 7th month of the "Hebrew Calander".

FYI Erev Rosh Hashana was Friday evening Sept 18, the 1st day of Rosh Hashana was Tishrei 1 and it occured on Saturday Sept 19th. If you can count to 10 that brings you to Sunday eve through Monday eve.

Even going based on your misinformation, if Sunday were the 1st (which it was not) then Tuesday Sept 29 which is today would have been Yom Kippur and not Wednesday.

I have no idea why you even mention the Gregorian Calendar or where you get your information from.

Actually, it is Wednesday. If you read in the Bible in Leviticus 23:27 "Also on the tenth [day] of this seventh month [there shall be] a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD." Notice it is on the 10th day not the 7th day. The 1st day was on Sunday a week ago. Do not rely on Gregorian Calendars to decide when the Feasts of the Lord are, check your Bible.

Thank you for your comment.
Sincerely In Christ,
Alison

Peter,

Forgive me but I am a little unclear of your assumptions. Are you saying that you do not believe in a rapture/resurrection? Are you saying that we are to look for (in the words of Joel Osteen) "our best life now"? Or possibly, are you saying we are to be expecting the millennial reign of Christ next? Please clarify for me. Thank you.

Sincerely In Christ,
Alison

Hi sis,
What you are about to hear may sound disappointing a bit but in Acts 3:20, Peter the apostle said Jesus will remain in heaven until God has restored all things redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Jesus perfect sacrifice on the cross not just redeemed us from eternal death but also eternal life, Zoe life on earth. Instead waiting for the trumpets, let's arise and shine for our light has come. The Lord will arise over us and His glory will be seen upon us. Let's wait eagerly for the great power and great grace He has promised.
Shalom.

Donna,

Thank you for your comment and compliment. To answer your question... We as the Church, should be looking for Him now. The signs we were given in the Bible from Jesus as to what the world will look like when the day approaches are happening all around us faster then the news can eve keep up with. It has all happened just as He said, like birth pains, slow at first and increasing in pace and intensity as it goes on until it is constant and unbearable right as it (as a birth) is coming to pass. The Jewish people are looking for Him at His second coming, which is different then the blessed hope rapture of the Church, because those who are not a part of the Church will not take part in the rapture. The Jewish people believe the Messiah will come during a sabbatical year, which takes place every 7 years (a good time for the 7 year tribulation just before hand). We look / study the Jewish roots of our faith and try to understand the correlation to what we know, being revealed the truth through Jesus... and we learn. Not all things that the Jewish people believe are true, but their will be a remnant that comes to the knowledge of the Truth when Jesus reveals Himself to them and then everything will come together. I hope that answered your question. Again, I appreciate your comment and compliment. Have a blessed day and keep looking up because it could be any day now. (Rosh Hashanah begins 10 days from now) ;-)

Sincerely In Christ,
Alison

LOVE your website - very educational! Just one question - if the Rabbis say that after 6000 years the Lord will come, how is it that he would come in the Jewish year 5770 (2009) and not thirty years from now when it would be the Jewish year 6000? Should we be looking for him in thirty years or at any moment? Thank you for all the hard work you put in on your website! God Bless! Your sister in Christ, Donna

Shannon,

You are obviously extremely upset and frustrated. Many mistake justice with evil because they do not want to be held accountable but just as with human laws, spiritual laws hold us accountable whether we like it or not. Regarding the Bible and it's authorship... it is the inspired Word of God given by His Holy Spirit to men chosen of God to the world for the purpose of rejoining people to Himself. That is love, not evil. Regarding the burning of witches and pagans, this has happened in different places at different times by different faiths. You must know that just because someone does something in the name of a faith, does not make them part of that faith in Truth.

It is obvious that someone has shared something with you that has convicted you of a sin and so your only way of reacting is to lash out at God because you know deep down that you are accountable for that sin(s) to Him. I hope that you know that because you are alive, you still have the ability to have a second chance. God is willing to forgive all you have ever done wrong... even the things you may not think are wrong. He deeply desires to cleanse you and make you whole so you are lacking nothing. He desires you to be with Him so that He can show you His love and share with you all that is His in eternal life. He does not desire you to suffer or lack or die in your sins. However, it is up to you to make the choice for life and love with Him. He will not force Himself on you. You must know this though, you only have a limited amount of time here on earth... in this life, to make that choice and no one knows how long you may have. Each chance you get and turn away from it, may be your last. Don't loose out on your blessings because of pride or frustration. Eternity is such a huge price to pay.

I hope that you will take this moment and open your heart to God. Tell Him how you feel. Ask Him to reveal His true self to you and to help you to let go of all of the pain and frustrations. Ask Him to help you to understand and to fill you with His love and peace in the process. He is faithful to be there for you in every trial you may face. In this life, we are not promised perfection, we are only offered hope of salvation so that we can obtain perfection through Him (Jesus) who paid the price for our sins and weaknesses here so that we could be with Him forever.

Shannon, you are deeply loved. I hope you will be able to see that. No one wants you to suffer. The reason someone shares the truth with another, no matter how painful it may be to that person at the time, is because they love them and want the best for them. I pray for you to know the depths of the love of God and to gain peace in His salvation.

Sincerely In Christ,
Alison

First, I would like to address that I find it interesting that with your strong feelings, you have chosen to remain anonymous… Interesting…

Now, I completely understand how you may feel very upset about “pastors” being led by greed and just trying to obtain as much of your money as possible. Those are dominantly, but not limited to preachers in the Word of Faith movement and the Ecumenical movement. The one’s who promise a miracle for money, etc. However, this should not carry over as a stereotype. Material has a cost and having the ability to utilize technology to share teachings costs. In that case, there is no difference between that and making an offering to send missionaries across the globe to preach to and serve those in need.

I understand that many are confusing the situation about the eclipses and Hebrew festivals along with the Rapture of the Church situation. Mr. Biltz did a study of the interesting future events of the eclipses correlating with Hebrew dates of significance. He shared his belief of the date of Rosh Hashanah being a strong possibility for the date of the Rapture, however, though he showed interest in the “what if” idea of it happening at the beginning of these eclipses and showed how that “may” correspond to the events during the tribulation and the 2nd coming of Christ… he did NOT make a matter of fact prediction regarding the Rapture happening on Rosh Hashanah 2008. There is a huge difference.

I notice how you make light of prophecy and the end days… by the way, it is not the end of the “world” it is the end of the “age of grace”. The world will continue for another 1,000 years before the final judgement, however, the age of grace you so mock will end shortly.

Your comment is one of the many signs that point us to the fact that we are in the last days as prophecied by the Bible. (<a href="http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Jud&c=1&v=18&t=KJV#18" rel="nofollow">Jude 1:18</a> How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. *and* <a href="http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=2Pe&c=3&v=4&t=KJV#4" rel="nofollow">2 Peter 3:4</a> And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation.)

You said, “Sow fear, $ell salvation”. It is only fear to those who have something to fear, but to those who are Christ’s it is salvation eternal. Yes, some as I stated in the beginning of this post do try to “sell” salvation and they will reap their just reward (judgment) in the end – read 2nd Peter. Those individuals however, do not eliminate the Truth for what it is and the fact that no matter who stands against it or chooses not to believe it… it will still come to pass just as it is written. You have access to the Truth now, but there will be a day soon when you will search for it and not find it because you chose not to love it now when it was here. (<a href="http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=2Th&c=2&v=10&t=KJV#10" rel="nofollow">2 Thessalonians 2:10-12</a> And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.)

Now, in regard to your 2nd comment, as you can see… I posted your comment in its entirety. I encourage you to read the Word of God, the Bible because it is your salvation. There is no other way a man can be save but through the Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. (<a href="http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Jhn&c=14&v=6&t=KJV#6" rel="nofollow">John 14:6</a> Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.) You never know when your last opportunity to obtain salvation will be. Once you die, there are no 2nd chances.

PS: You should try contacting Mr. Biltz regarding your concerns and let him respond to you directly, himself.

Sincerely In Christ,
Alison

Jonathan,

I want to thank you again for your comment. You have given great references of scripture to show that angels can do powerful things. Also, as we are aware… Satan can come as an angel of light. (<a href="http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=2Cr&c=11&v=14&t=KJV#14" rel="nofollow">2 Corinthians 11:14-15</a> And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.) Remembering always, that we are to try the spirits to see whether they are of God. (<a href="http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=1Jo&c=4&v=1&t=KJV#comm/1" rel="nofollow">1 John 4:1</a> Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.)
We know that the Holy Spirit of God causes us to draw closer to Him through healing and through the Word of God which is Jesus. We know that through the stories of demonic possessions, Satan and his ministers cause individuals to behave contrary to the fruit of the Spirit of God and the Word of God as well as to lose control of their own bodily actions (not pertaining to losing the ability to speak as stated in scripture).

When judging for ourselves whether something is from God or another spirit, we need to line all of the fruit up with the Word of God, the Bible because emotions can taint our perceptions very easily. If others who are either behaving or making others to behave in a questionable way, ie: barking, etc. are teaching against the Word of God, then we should hold fast to ourselves against the “signs and wonders” they are proclaiming.

You brought up Catholics in your comment as an example. Well, lets take a look at that. Lets look at what Catholics believe…

Catholics believe that you can go to purgatory when you die and gain merits through different means to enter heaven. – This is not Biblical

Catholics believe that the Pope is infallible. – This is not Biblical

Catholics believe that you can use other mediators to God, ie: Mary, saints, the Pope, etc. – This is not Biblical

Those are just 3 major points… so given that their teachings go against the core points of Christianity, you could not in good conscience follow these teachings and not have consequences for it.

The same standards would pertain to those in the W.O.F (Word Of Faith) movement, Ecumenical movement, etc. These are the “charismatic” churches you are speaking of. If you were to line up their teachings to the Word of God, you would see that they were lacking.

Many are being caught up in their words that tickle the ears (<a href="http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=2Ti&c=4&v=3&t=KJV#top" rel="nofollow">2 Timothy 4:3-4</a> For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.). This is brought on by big egos, greed and a strong desire to not be accountable and to just enjoy the lustfulness of this life.

Many will be deceived by these “leaders” (wolves in sheeps clothing). (<a href="http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Mat&c=7&v=15&t=KJV#15" rel="nofollow">Matthew 7:15</a> Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. *and* <a href="http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Act&c=20&v=29&t=KJV#29" rel="nofollow">Acts 20:29</a> For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.)
Some of these are even now denying the Lord Jesus, by whom we are saved. They are beginning to teach that there are many ways to salvation and that each person must find their own path to God… even to the point of some teaching that all people are God.

Regarding the casting out of demons, whether by a believer in Christ or a non-believer… This shows the power behind the name of Jesus. It shows that it is not by our power or our authority that demons can be cast out, but by His power, by His Spirit, by His Name! (<a href="http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Zec&c=4&v=6&t=KJV#6" rel="nofollow">Zechariah 4:6</a> Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This [is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. *and* <a href="http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Mar&c=1&v=27&t=KJV#27" rel="nofollow">Matthew 1:27</a> …for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him “Jesus”.)

So, what we know is that it is the power, authority and Name of Jesus that all are subject to… however, just because one utilizes this does not mean that they are saved.
Thank you again for your comment Jonathan.

Sincerely in Christ,
Alison

Yet another end of world prophecy. And surprise surprise, for $24.95 I can call the number at the bottom of the screen and purchase my very own copy! Never saw that one coming!

Here's a prophecy for you. Feel free to compare the accuracy of mine to that of the learned pastor. By 2016, you'll be able to pick up this video series for "shipping and handling only". A new video will be out, same bible quotes, different years. Shifted out just far enough to settle into another round of "fishing for dollars" in the waters of naïevity. With the credulous and the stupid lining up to bite.

Sow fear, $ell salvation. The matra of organized religion the world over.

A far more creative way of extracting money than tithe, I will concede that. Equally as dishonest, but you knew that already...

PS: Remind me again, why does he need the money if the world is about to end?

Jonathan,

Thank you for your comment. You have a very good question. They way you have outlined your thoughts are the same as how I at times approach God about topics that I am debating myself. Weighing the two options though leaning toward one or the other but wondering how to move forward with discernment. I wanted to let you know that I have received your comment and I will be responding more thoroughly soon. I would like to reply when I am not distracted, as I am at the moment in my current surroundings. So, hang in there and I will get back to you shortly. Thank you again for your comment Jonathan.

Sincerely In Christ,
Alison
