This is a site dedicated to Christian studies of various subjects, which include: End Time Prophecy, Apostasy, Ministry, Missions and Current Events. You may notice that there are some other random topics here as well. This is because this was my first site and at the beginning, I wasn’t sure if it would be a personal site or otherwise… it turned out to be otherwise, therefore, I created other sites for my more personal entries. You can see those sites, which are listed below. Thank you for stopping by and I hope to hear from you. If there is anything that you would like for me to research, please feel free to leave a comment and I will do my best to cover it. Thanks again and God bless!
Sincerely In Christ,
Alison

Today, I thought that I would share with you my salvation testimony. When I was younger, from birth, my grandmother and my dad would take me to church. They were Catholic. Though they never told me how to be saved, they told me who God was and who Jesus was, etc.
I remember whenever my dad [...]

At [...]
Wow, Part I was pretty cleansing. I am not one to normally talk about myself like this, so this is an interesting experience to say the least. Now, here we go on Part II.
Previously, I spoke mostly about my sister… or “half” sister, as she would put it. I had referred to other stories in [...]

Okay, this may sound odd to some, but sometimes when I am having a hard time getting to sleep at night… my husband walks me through some visualizations – and it works. Last night was one of those nights.
It all started one night about a week ago, when I just couldn’t go to sleep [...]
My husband started a discussion the other day regarding the Myers-Briggs personality test. You can see what you rank by Clicking Here. So, I thought that I would share my results with you here. My test says that I rank as an “ISFJ”, which means the following:

Today I was looking at some old 1980’s decade things like commercials, cartoons, etc. Well, I came across the Monchhichi dolls and cartoon intro:
I just got a huge kick out of this. I use to have one and I loved it dearly. When I was 6 years old, my school had [...]
I write this in the midst of the passionate flurry of emotions from the events which unfolded just moments ago. My heart still races within my chest and my head is still high with adrenaline. I was sitting on the couch, minding my own business while trying to destress from the sibling rivalry between my [...]
I came across this joke a little while back and it made me laugh soooo hard, so I wanted to share it here. The comedian is Anjelah Johnson and she captures it perfectly. For anyone who has ever gotten this done, this video will bring back memories. Enjoy!
A cup of coffee and a chatt with friends… this is what I miss the most. I am reminded of past friends and joys, by a fellow blogger that I read. So, I thought that I would write about that today.
I enjoyed nothing more than sitting with a close friend, drinking coffee and chatting about [...]
Today is such a beautiful day that I just had to write about it. There is a nice breeze blowing in through the windows and the sun is shining, illuminating everything with it’s warm glow. The birds are singing and preparing their nests, while the cats are enjoying the view. I have some swing king [...]
My favorite childhood memory:
I had previously gone to a forum that had a thread topic of “What is your favorite childhood memory”… So, I replied about mine and I thought I would share that here as well.

Who sings that song, I asked Bradley, franctically trying to search every outlet I could get my little fingers on…
I didn’t know who was the singer of the song below until tonight. I searched all around and came up with another song, which turns out to be one of my favorites now. Anyway, the song [...]

There is a video that I found a while back and I watched it again today. It is so moving that I wanted to have it on my site for you to see. Please watch it and listen.
Its amazing… and true. When things seem to be bad and all hope seems to dissipate, remember, the battle is already won… so hang in there my friend, you are not alone.
It is amazing how music can effect us in our mood, thoughts and our outlook of the past, present and future. It can cause an openess of creativity or suppress our inner selves from being expressed. Sometimes we listen to certain types of songs to wallow in our melancholy or to distract us from the situations that we must face.
On My Fav Music page, I have listed some of the songs (which are clickable for your listening and viewing pleasure) that move me in one way or another. Some of them are melancholy types and some are more upbeat. There are others that I would like to list, but just haven’t had the time. I want to make sure that I make it so that you can listen to them also and don’t have to try and ‘find’ them yourselves, to see if you like them too.
Anyway, the first song I have on my favs page is probably my most favorite. I was thinking the other day of why it is that I like it so much. I do like the song for the words, because you cannot hear that ‘everything is going to be alright’… to many times, right? But it is more than that… the notes used, just seem to pull you in (or at least they do me) and keep you there. Even so though, when you combine that with the video, to me it’s a hit. I really love her Jamie’s voice and the cinematography is mesmerising. I think that everyone in a relationship could relate to the words, and the actions on the video. Needless to say, I have been listening to this song repeatedly over the last few days. I am addicted to it.
I wonder if we choose music to fit our moods more or do we choose music to change our moods. I would probably have to go with the first option. This could be a problem though. If someone is depressed and they only listen to depressing songs, then they probably won’t get out of that stage very soon.
I don’t know about you though, but I tend to get sucked into melancholy songs more than any other. Those types make my thoughts ponder and my creativity open up.
I think about how kids will do things and then blame music or movies on their actions. I wonder how far fetched that actually is. If a kid grows up with their only contact being movies or music because their parents, siblings, etc. are too busy or to self absorbed to pay attention to them… that is all that they can relate too. If they feel rejected, naturally they will listen/watch/create what they know and each has to top the previous one… so you end up with either really good stuff or really bad stuff and there is the next generation.
